🧭 How claims work
Claim blocks = land you can protect
Every square of ground in a claim costs one claim block. A 10×10 claim costs 100. You start with 100 and earn more just by playing. Claims go from the sky all the way down to bedrock, so nobody can dig under your house.
Inside a claim, only trusted players can…
- place or break blocks
- open chests, furnaces and barrels
- use doors, buttons and beds
- hurt or lead your animals
Fire can't spread in, and explosions don't break blocks.
🟩 Not the same as Builder World plots! Land claims are for the survival world. In the Builder World your land is a plot with its own

💡 Your first chest automatically makes a small claim around it (4 blocks out) so new players are safe right away.
🪄 Make, see & resize a claim
With the golden shovel
- Hold a golden shovel.
- Right-click one corner of your land.
- Right-click the opposite corner.
- Glowing gold and glowstone blocks show the edges.
Resize: right-click a glowing corner with the shovel, then right-click where you want the new corner.
With a command (no shovel needed)

Hold a stick and right-click the ground: it tells you who owns that spot and shows the claim edges.
📏 Size rules: a claim must be at least 5 blocks wide and 100 blocks in area. Claims can't overlap someone else's.

Trust commands work on the claim you're standing in. Type them outside all your claims to trust someone in every claim you own.
🏠 Subdivisions (rooms inside a claim)
- Type
/subdivideclaims. Your shovel is now in subdivide mode. - Right-click two corners inside your claim to make a room.
- Stand in the room and use trust commands: they only apply there.
- Want a private room? Stand in it and type
/restrictsubclaim. - Type

🔧 Problems & FAQ
“You don't have enough claim blocks.”
Make the claim smaller, abandon an old claim you don't use, or keep playing to earn more. /claimslist shows how many you have.
My friend can't open my chest.
Stand in your claim and type /containertrust FriendName. /trust works too, but it also lets them break blocks.
I can't build here. It says someone else owns it.
Hold a stick and right-click to see who owns it. Ask them to trust you, or build somewhere else. Stuck? /trapped.
Someone broke my stuff outside my claim!
Tell a Helper with /helpop. The server records every block, so grown-ups can put it back. Then claim that area!
Does my claim protect my pets and horses?
Yes, inside your claim other players can't hurt or lead them. Battle Mode (/pvp) is separate.
